The foam has been upgraded to a comfort grip foam. What this type of foam does is mold more to your body and doesn't get hard. In addition the dipped foam head guard has now been improved to 1" of padding. In addition the top of the head has been closed up to help protect against hammer fist strikes and axe kicks. The Punch and Kick (Boot) has been upgraded to 3/4" of foam padding.

How to measure for your size:
- HEAD GEAR- use a tape measure and measure the circumference of the head at the widest point. For best fit, do a loose measurement and move up one size if measurement is exactly at the highest end of the sizing.
- PUNCH- lay hand flat on counter and measure across the top of the four knuckles.
- KICK- measure length of foot from heel to the big toe.
